Assault is one of the most played map in
Counter-Strike. It is small yet big
looking. The objective is to rescue 4
hostages in a supply depot. They are kept in
a small room. This map has many sniping
spots for both teams and you'll most probably have
much fun playing this map.
Strategies:
Terrorist's main objective is to try to defend the
base at all costs. There are three
entrances. The main door, vent and the back
door. I would suggest snipers guarding the
main door and some at both sides. The back door
can be easily guarded by placing someone behind
the door. When it opens, just shoot through
it and his dead. The vent can be also
guarded by checking it frequently. If there
is a CT in tehre, throw in a flash, then shoot him
down.
Another tactic for
the terrorist is to charge all in a group.
Counter-terrorists will not expect this.
Charge out of the main door together and storm the
area outside. If all done quick, the
Counter-Terrorists won't be able to reach the
depot.
For the
counter-terrorists, it'd be a little harder,
espically if the Terrorist are defending their
base. I would suggest getting most of your
team to attack through the front door. Try
to lure all the terrorist down to defending the
main door leaving the vent and the back door open.
Send 2 or 3 people down the vent and then kill the
rest of the terrorists without them knowing.
